Job summary

PCC Community Wellness Center is seeking compassionate Medical Assistants to support patient care across our Chicago and near-west suburban health centers, including Melrose Park. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers and care teams while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Float MAs will work across PCC locations based on staffing needs, with shifts ranging from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current and valid CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and performs routine patient intake, documenting appropriately.
• Directs patient flow and assists staff to maintain patient flow.
• Performs and documents basic patient history, treatments and administered medications appropriately.
• Maintains accurate medical records and reports to the nurse any pertinent information.
