Job summary

Pediatric Associates seeks a Medical Assistant Float to join our clinician-led pediatric team. You will support clinical and administrative tasks across multiple sites under supervision, assisting with vaccines, vitals, and routine procedures.

The role requires a MA diploma/certification or 1 year of MA experience, active BLS, and a HS diploma. You will travel to eight locations; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with travel 15–20% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in General Medicine for medical foreign doctors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high quality patient experience and infection control compliance.
• Document vitals and notify clinician of abnormal findings.
• Interview patient and document medical history and vaccines.
• Prepare patient for examination and assist with procedures under clinician supervision.
• Vaccines and medication reconciliation with patient education.
• Maintain vaccine cold chain and report excursions.
• Administer vaccines and medications with proper technique.
• Complete follow-up tasks, referrals, and care coordination as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling.
• Work as an essential member of the patient-centered medical home team.
• Other duties as assigned.
