Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Flight Nurse with pediatric focus to join our Life Flight Team. The role involves expert care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in air and ground transports, with autonomous as well as collaborative practice across the care team.

You will perform assessments, plan care, deliver medications, and monitor outcomes in fast-paced environments. A BSN and active RN license are required, with NRP within 120 days and trauma certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure and BSN required
• ALS/BLS/PALS and trauma certifications required or within hire period
• NRP within 120 days of hire
• Emergency/critical care experience
• BSN required by July 2025
• TNATC/ATLS/PHTLS/TNCC trauma certs encouraged

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients during interfacility transports and emergencies
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Administer medications and coordinate resources in mobile environments
• Maintain safety, ethics, and CAMTS/CLIA standards
• Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
