This is more than a job; it's a mission to deliver life-saving care in the most challenging environments.

What You'll Do

As a flight nurse, you'll provide expert-level care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in dynamic, high-stakes environments-whether in the air or on the ground. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment : Perform comprehensive physical, psychological, and developmental evaluations.
  • Planning : Develop individualized care plans using critical thinking and input from patients, families, and the care team.
  • Implementation : Deliver and coordinate care, administer medications, and manage resources in fast-paced, mobile settings.
  • Evaluation : Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Professionalism : Uphold the highest standards of nursing practice, safety, and ethics in accordance with CAMTS, CLIA, and Life Flight protocols.
Work Environment

This role requires adaptability and resilience. You'll operate in:

  • Helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft (including unpressurized flights up to 10,000 feet)
