Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Flight Nurse I to deliver advanced, autonomous medical care during air and ground transport. You will manage critically ill patients, perform ALS procedures, and ensure safety and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifikationen

• State-certified Nurse with no restrictions, valid in area of operation.
• BSN required by July 2025 update; BSN within four years for hires/promotions.
• ALS/BLS/PALS and trauma care certifications are required.
• NRP within 120 days of hire.
• CFRN certification within two years of hire.
• Advanced trauma certifications (ATLS, PHTLS, TNCC) within one year of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide advanced life support and stabilization during air/ground transport.
• Assess and stabilize critically ill patients using autonomous decision-making.
• Perform pre-hospital, interfacility, and in-transit ALS including airway/cardiac care.
• Maintain equipment and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and altitude-related transport considerations.
