Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Emergency Department with an evening shift. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, from 1:00pm to 1:00am, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Requires IL RN license, CPR, ACLS/PALS within 3 months, NIHSS within 3 months, and 1+ year ED experience. Education: ADN or higher; a BSN within five years if ADN held. Join a Magnet-designated nursing team focused on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
Experience: 1+ years' experience in the emergency department unit.
Required License/Certification: IL RN license; CPR; ACLS within 3 months; PALS within 3 months; NIHSS within 3 months.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Uses critical thinking to assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care.
Delegates appropriate patient care tasks and works as a team member to meet unit goals.
