Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a full-time basis. You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, and communicate with patients, families, and the care team to ensure safe, timely interventions.

The role requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR certification. Evening shifts (9am–9pm) with a 36-hour week and every third weekend. Join a Magnet-recognized network focused on quality and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN required.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and the care team in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
