Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, Evening shift, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with shift hours from 3:00pm to 3:00am and rotating weekends/holidays. Candidates must have an ASN or higher in nursing, with 1+ year ED experience and IL RN licensure.
ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required within specified timelines. Compensation includes education and benefit offerings.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing; if Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
- Experience: Requires 1+ years' experience in the emergency department unit.
- Required Licensure/Certifications: Current IL RN licensure; CPR certification; ACLS within 3 months; PALS within 3 months; NIHSS within 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Employs critical thinking, assesses patient condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and records observations.
- Delegates appropriate care tasks and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
