Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to cover evening shifts. This full-time role is 36 hours per week with hours from 3pm to 3am and every 3rd weekend.

The RN will assess patients, coordinate care plans, and communicate with patients, families, and care teams. Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification are required; BSN/ADN accepted with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions.
• Communicates clearly with patients and families in person and in writing.
• Educates patient and family based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards and regulations.
