HCA Healthcare, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Emergency role at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. The RN collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, documentation, and coordination of diagnostic testing. Eligible candidates have TN or compact-state RN licensure, current BLS, and PALS within 6 months, with pediatric experience

Qualificações

• RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact-state license.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience required.

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' condition.

• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions.
• You will maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• You will record patients medical information and vital signs.
• You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients condition.
• You will monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
• You will prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.

What qualifications you will need:

• RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing license from a compact state.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• 1 Year of RN experience required
