Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for its pediatric emergency department at the East Valley Campus. The position offers 10-hour shifts on a 7 on/7 off schedule, a relocation assistance, and a starting bonus of up to $10,000. The pharmacist will manage medication processes for patients, ensure compliance, and provide clinical services.

Candidates must have a Master's or Doctorate in Pharmacy and current licensure in Arizona. Experience with pediatric patients and hospital pharmacy practice is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy or equivalent, completion of PGY‑1 residency preferred.
• One year of experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in Arizona or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication management for patients from neonate to young adulthood.
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and verify orders in a timely manner.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives within the department.

Skills

Problem-solving and collaboration skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Experience with medication information systems

Current licensure as a pharmacist in Arizona

Education

Master's or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy

Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency program
