Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine is recruiting for an Open Rank/Open Track clinical faculty position in Pediatric Cardiology Electrophysiology. The ideal candidate will perform invasive EP procedures and participate in education of medical students and residents, with opportunities in clinical research and quality improvement.

Strong candidates will have completed an EP fellowship and be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree mandatory.
• Board certification or eligibility in pediatric cardiology required.
• Fellowship training in electrophysiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate medical students and house staff.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement efforts.
• Potential leadership opportunities within the division.
• Involve in ambulatory and inpatient pediatric cardiology, including invasive EP procedures.
