Job summary

Medical City Dallas under HCA Healthcare seeks a Pediatric Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN - Supervisor to lead and coordinate care on our fast-paced unit. This full-time days shift (7A-7P) emphasizes patient-centered care, staff mentorship, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The CNC ensures high quality nursing care, guides admissions and discharges, and partners with leadership to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start.
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 18 months.
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 18 months.
Registered Nurse license.
BSN degree required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Emergency Department.
Charge RN experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
Assist with admission and discharge processes.
Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
Assist with staff scheduling.
