Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 34102 ACH Enterprise - Nursing Float Pool. This 0.9 FTE position offers 36 hours per week with self-scheduling and 12-hour night shifts (1900–0730).

Typical duties include applying the nursing process, monitoring patients, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation. BLS and RN licensure are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives and evidence-based care improvements.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient status, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the team to improve outcomes.
