Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an Echocardiographer within the Pediatric Cardiology department. The role involves performing and interpreting transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including complex congenital heart disease.

The position includes mentoring pediatric cardiology fellows and sonographers, with outpatient clinic duties at the Anschutz campus and potential network involvement.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience for Associate Professor.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience for Professor.

Responsibilities

• Interprets diagnostic TTE in inpatient and outpatient settings including complex CHD.
• Performs TEE interpretations in OR, cath lab, and EP lab settings.
• Train and mentor pediatric cardiology fellows and imaging fellows.
• Train and mentor pediatric cardiac sonographers.
• Outpatient cardiology clinic at Anschutz campus and network of care.
