Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz in Aurora, CO is seeking an Echocardiographer in Pediatric Cardiology. The role involves performing and interpreting transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography with focus on congenital heart disease and collaboration within a large pediatric heart program.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Open rank position: Assistant/Associate/Professor/Professor based on experience.
• Must successfully pass drug test and background check.
• Preferred: additional year in non-invasive cardiac imaging/echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Interprets diagnostic transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Performs and provides in-the-moment interpretations on diagnostic transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in OR, cath lab, EP lab.
• Train and mentor pediatric cardiology fellows and advanced cardiac imaging fellows.
• Help train pediatric cardiac sonographers.
• Outpatient cardiology clinic at the Anschutz campus and network of care.
