Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Westfield, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Early Intervention to deliver home and community-based services to infants and toddlers birth to three and support families.

The successful candidate will partner with families, provide individualized, evidence-based services, complete documentation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop IFSPs and monitor progress. Licensing and ASHA CCC/CfE eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or CF eligibility is preferred.
• Experience with early intervention is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services for birth to three, using parent coaching.
• Provide service coordination and monitor intervention plans and timelines.
• Develop IFSP goals with families to identify development objectives and strategies.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions and advocate for the child.
• Complete progress notes and reports in the Thom system.
• Deliver individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers with delays.
