Job summary

Thom Child and Family Services in West Newbury, MA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for early intervention services with infants and toddlers birth to three. You will provide home and community-based therapy, partner with families, and develop IFSP goals grounded in evidence-based practice.

Flexibility in schedule, ongoing supervision, and comprehensive benefits are offered; incumbents hold Massachusetts licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP; CF eligibility welcomed.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• CF eligibility.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual/Bicultural a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services and activities developmentally appropriate for children 0-3 and their families.
• Participate in the development of the IFSP with goals, objectives, and strategies.
• Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence.
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers birth to three with delays or at risk.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Serve as service coordinator by scheduling and monitoring interventions for each family.
• Support families and foster parent-child interactions.
