Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Woburn, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide home and community-based early intervention services for infants and toddlers birth to three. You will partner with parents to deliver individualized, evidence-based services in family settings.

Qualifications

• Current MA Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• Experience with infants and toddlers and families preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary assessments of developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family-centered services for birth to three using a coaching model.
• Coordinate services by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the IFSP.
• Partner with families to develop IFSP goals and strategies.
• Facilitate parent–child interactions to support development.
• Complete progress notes and reports using the Thom documentation system.
