RWJBarnabas Health's Children’s Specialized Hospital seeks an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to provide family-centered, evidence-based services in homes and community settings across Monmouth County.

The role emphasizes coaching families, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering IFSP-driven interventions for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. 35-hour weeks with daily travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current NJ OT license; driver’s license required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years pediatric OT with infants/young children.
• Skills: Infant/toddler development, family-centered coaching, IFSP development, documentation.
• Requirements: Travel across Monmouth County; reliable transportation.
• Schedule: 35 hours/week; travel to homes/centers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental evaluations in children's natural environments.
• Develop and update IFSPs with families and team.
• Provide OT interventions targeting fine motor, sensory, self-help skills.
• Coach families by modeling strategies for daily routines.
• Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, and other professionals.
• Document evaluations, sessions, and progress per requirements.
• Travel throughout Monmouth County to deliver services.
