The position requires NJ PT licensure, at least two years of pediatric experience, and willingness to travel daily to assigned homes.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensure: Current and unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist license; temporary licensure may be considered; valid NJ driver’s license.
Experience: Minimum of two years' pediatric experience with young children and developmental delays.
Skills: Knowledge of infant/toddler development, IFSP development, family-centered coaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Schedule: Per diem schedule with travel to homes/childcare settings throughout Union County.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive developmental evaluations in children’s natural environments.
Develop, implement and update IFSPs with families and team members.
Provide evidence-based pediatric physical therapy interventions for gross motor development and functional movement.
Coach parents and caregivers to incorporate strategies into daily routines.
Collaborate with therapists from other disciplines to ensure coordinated care.
