Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
Valid New Jersey Occupational Therapist license is required.
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is required.
Experience in pediatric or early intervention settings preferred.
Knowledge of IDEA Part C regulations and developmental milestones is beneficial.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of motor, sensory, and adaptive skills.
Develop individualized family service plans (IFSP) in collaboration with families.
Design evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children.
Educate families on supporting child development.
Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care.
