Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PA training program is required.

• PA licensure in Alabama within 60 days is required.
• CRNP licensure in Alabama and RN licensure required upon hire or soon after.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnoses and management of pediatric developmental delays under physician supervision.
• Perform developmental screenings and evaluations of infants and toddlers.
• Obtain thorough histories and conduct physicals in pediatrics.
• Order laboratory, radiology and other diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Maintain electronic health records and complete hospital requirements.
• Provide information and support to families regarding diagnosis and referrals.
