Job summary

Qualified candidates hold an Alabama NP or PA license (NPC for NP), plus completion of an accredited NP or PA training program. This regular position requires 20+ hours per week for benefits and may involve scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
• NP or PA training program required/approved.
• Alabama NP or PA licensure upon hire required or 60 days for PA.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Increase ability to evaluate general pediatric endocrinology problems.
• Perform outpatient pediatric endocrinology evaluations.
• Evaluate new general endocrinology patients.
• See follow-up patients from hospital in the clinic setting.
• Take patient calls and discuss results with parents.
• Complete all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Safety Standards.
• Flexible schedule including overtime as required.
