Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, Alabama, seeks dedicated pediatric endocrinology clinicians to support outpatient evaluations and follow-up care. You will work with parents to discuss results and manage medications, within a comprehensive care team.

Requirements include NP or PA training, Alabama licensure on hire (or within 60 days), and a strong commitment to infection control and safety standards. This is a regular, benefited position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing and completion of an approved nurse practitioner training program OR completion of an accredited physician assistant training program.
• Alabama NP licensure upon hire OR PA licensure within 60 days.
• NPC - Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of Alabama upon hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Increase our ability to evaluate general pediatric endocrinology problems.
• Perform out-patient pediatric endocrinology evaluations.
• Be knowledgeable about endocrinology medications.
• Evaluate new general endocrinology patients.
• See follow up patients from hospital in the clinic setting.
• Take patients calls and discuss results with parents.
• Complete all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adhere to Infection Control and Safety Standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and schedule as defined, with overtime as required.
• Related duties as assigned.
