Job summary
42 North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist who is open to treating children, to join our Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw. This full-time role offers diverse practice areas including orthodontics and oral surgery within a modern facility.
Candidates must hold a DMD/DDS, be licensed to practice in Michigan, and have BLS/CPR; board eligibility/certification and malpractice coverage are preferred.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x‑rays and monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
- Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics in the office.
