Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) to join the Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw, MI. This position supports a multi‑specialty practice with modern equipment and an emphasis on preventive and cosmetic dentistry for children.

The role offers a flexible schedule (part-time or full-time), a busy patient base, and opportunities for career growth, including integrated orthodontics and oral surgery within the practice.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism within the dental office; stay updated with current developments.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS/CPR certification
