Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan seeks a Pediatric Dentist, or a General Dentist, open to treating children, to join our Great Lakes Family Dental team in Saginaw, MI. We offer part-time or full-time schedules with a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 USD and integrated orthodontics and state‑of‑the‑art technology.

The role requires a DMD or DDS and board eligibility/certification in pediatric dentistry, with modern facilities and career growth opportunities for a long‑term rewarding career.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.

Education

DMD or DDS

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

Current BLS/CPR certification
