Job summary

Davis Smiles Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), creating a Patient for Life (PFL). You will prepare patients for exams, assist with treatments, and maintain a clean, sterile operatory.

The role requires teamwork with specialty assistants, front office staff, and patients, ensuring efficient scheduling, infection control, radiographs, charting, and proper equipment maintenance while upholding company standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state-mandated certification or registration.
• State-required certificates, licenses, or registrations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Specialty Dental Assistants travel to multiple offices daily.
• One-year certificate from a college/technical school.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians to provide efficient, quality dental treatment.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Ensure equipment is maintained per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Work with Lead Dental Assistant to manage supplies.
