Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and contribute to the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), ensuring a Patient for Life (PFL). You will assist with examinations, prepare patients, and help maintain a sterile, efficient office environment.

You will sterilize instruments, take radiographs, manage supplies, and collaborate with the front desk to keep the Orthodontists schedule running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state requirements for certification/licensure.
• Preference for a one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance if specialty dental assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience and support PPE goals.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; maintain a clean and sterile operatory.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are ready for each operatory.
• Conduct charting and record notes in the digital patient chart as directed.
• Coordinate with front office to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow.
