Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), creating a Patient for Life (PFL). You will prepare patients for exams, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean, sterile environment.

Responsibilities include sterilizing instruments, taking radiographs, preparing trays, and coordinating with front office to keep Orthodontists' schedules running smoothly. High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-required certification.
• Specialty travel to multiple offices may be required.
• Driver's license and automobile insurance required.
• Background check may be required for license verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per the applicable state's Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist in the Perfect Patient Experience to keep patients focused on treatment.
• Escort patients to the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and ensure operatory cleanliness.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to deliver quality care.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed.
• Record charting and clinician notes in the digital chart.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and support daily huddles and meetings.
