No radiology license is required to start, but you must pass the exam and obtain certification within nine months. Responsibilities include patient care, data collection, chairside support, and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• BLS-CPR certification required.
• Active Indiana Dental Radiology License within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care services under the supervision of a dentist or supervisor.
• Collects and reports patient intake data, medical history, and care provided.
• Prioritizes patient care based on resources and patient prognosis.
• Maintains instruments, equipment, and supplies in the treatment area.
• Obtains diagnostic dental x‑rays using safe radiology processes.
• Supports safe care with uncooperative patients.
• Maintains aseptic/sterile processing of instruments and supplies per policy.
• Performs administrative duties, schedules visits, and communicates with patients.
