Job summary

Smile Programs, the nation's leading in-school dental program, is seeking a Dental Assistant in South Bend, IN and surrounding areas to support mobile clinics that deliver care to underserved children at their schools.

Work hours align with school days (about 6–7 hours, typically 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.), with evenings, weekends and summers off. The role offers health, dental, and vision benefits and opportunities to gain unique experience with portable, state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• X-ray license required.
• Digital X-ray imaging experience preferred.
• Coronal polishing experience is a plus.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience as a dental assistant.

Responsibilities

• Dental assisting services during mobile dental clinics.
• Digital X-ray Imaging.
• Patient records charting.
• Equipment setup, breakdown, and sterilization assistance.
• Travel daily to and from school sites.
