Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to support pediatric dentistry operations. You will assist the dentist, take radiographs, and document patient histories while ensuring comfort for children throughout procedures.

The role emphasizes patient education on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care. This full-time position runs Monday through Thursday, 7:45am to 5:00pm, offering hourly pay between $18 and $22.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
• X-Ray Certification (preferred).
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Take patients' medical and dental history.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing and flossing).
• Chart/enter a treatment and notes into EagleSoft.
• Dental cleanings/prophylaxis, fluoride application, and sealants.
• Sterilization and cleaning chairs.
• And other tasks to keep our office clean and tidy.
