Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice in a fast-growing environment. You will assist the dentist, take radiographs, review medical histories, and help patients understand post-op care.

We value integrity, teamwork, and excellent patient service. This full-time role requires Saturday work and offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K, vacation and more, plus potential monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant schooling or office experience required.
• Experience taking and developing radiographs and reviewing medical history.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Review patients' medical history and vital signs.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions and oral hygiene guidance.
• Enter treatments in Dentrix Ascend.
• Chart and manage patient records.

Job Duties:

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance purposes.
• Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.

Job Type:

Full-time: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $23.00 + Benefits + Monthly Bonuses
