Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone is seeking an excellent Certified Dental Assistant to join our pediatric practice. The position is full-time, with weekend shifts and an hourly rate of $18.00–$23.00 depending on experience. Benefits plus monthly bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Radiation X-Ray certification required.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
• Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for insurance purposes.
• Chart and enter treatments using Dentrix Ascend.
