Job summary

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners in Celebration, FL, is expanding and seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our private practice team. You will support the dentist across procedures, take and develop radiographs, and help patients feel comfortable throughout visits while teaching basic oral hygiene.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• 1 year of Dental Assisting experience.
• X-Ray Certification (preferred).
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Take patients' medical and dental history
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing and flossing).
• Chart/enter a treatment and notes into EagleSoft.
• Dental cleanings/prophylaxis, fluoride application, and sealants
• Sterilization and cleaning chairs
• And other tasks to keep our office clean and tidy

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.

Full-time:

Monday - Thursday

Hours

7:45am - 5 pm

$18 - $22 an hour
