Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients.
Act as a liaison between patient and doctor.
Set up trays as indicated by daily charts.
Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
Enter treatment plans.
Take x-rays as needed.
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
Take alginates; pour and trim models.
Package and sterilize instruments.
Keep operatory fully stocked.
