Job summary

Dental Associates of Connecticut Kids - Danbury is seeking a motivated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented team. You will greet and seat patients, assist chairside, take X-rays, and help maintain a welcoming clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as per daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate doctor needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans into the system.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates, pour, and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.
• Liaise between patient and doctor.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Pediatric Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor's needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient

Salary Description

$20-$25/ hour
