Job summary

Archway Dental Partners in Newtown, CT seeks a motivated full-time Dental Assistant to join our family‑oriented team. We provide a relaxed, welcoming environment with high standards of care for our patients.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting chairside, taking X‑rays, preparing treatment plans, and keeping the operatory clean and stocked. Ideal candidates are reliable, team‑oriented, and eager to grow within our Connecticut network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service skills and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Must be able to commute to Newtown, CT.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by daily charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate doctor needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans and take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Maintain stocked operatory and sterilize instruments.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor's needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Superior customer service skills
• Willingness to learn & grow

• Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Newtown, CT

Available To Work During Current Office Hours

• 4 days per week
• 1-2 late nights per week
• 1-2 Saturdays per month

Preferred Qualities

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification

Salary Description $22-$25/ hour
