Job summary

Dental Associates of CT in Norwalk is seeking a motivated full-time Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented team. You will greet and seat patients, liaise between patient and doctor, set up trays, and assist chairside with four-handed dentistry.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays, entering treatment plans, maintaining stock and cleanliness of the operatory, and sterilizing instruments. Preferred Dentrix Ascend experience and X-ray certification; requires ability to commute to Norwalk,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Superior customer service skills.
Willingness to learn and grow with the practice.
Ability to reliably commute to Norwalk, CT.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
Enter treatment plans
Take x-rays as needed
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
Take alginates/pour and trim models
Package and sterilize instruments
Keep operatory fully stocked
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
