Job summary

Dental Associates of Connecticut Kids - Danbury is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join a family‑oriented practice. You will greet and seat patients, assist the doctor, and manage chairside duties with four‑handed dentistry while maintaining clean, prepared operatory spaces.

Responsibilities include taking x‑rays, entering treatment plans, and ensuring instruments and trays are ready. Strong customer service and reliability are essential to support a welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service skills expected.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.

• Ability to commute reliably to Danbury, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four‑handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans into the system.
• Take x‑rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates, pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.
• Liaise between patient and doctor.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Pediatric Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor

Available to work:

• Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
• Fridays as needed from 8am
• One Saturday per month 8am - 2pm
