Job summary

Darien Family Dental Care, an office within Dental Associates of Connecticut, is seeking a motivated full-time Dental Assistant in Darien, CT. You will greet patients, assist the doctor, and maintain sterile operatory conditions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays, managing treatment plans, tray setup, and ensuring smooth daily schedules. Preference for experience with Dentrix Ascend and ICE/X-ray certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a family-oriented team.
• Ability to reliably commute to Darien, CT.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients.
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates/pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
