Job summary

Care Dental Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented team. You will greet patients, assist chairside with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, and help keep operatory clean and stocked.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and bilingual Spanish. We value willingness to learn, teamwork, and delivering the best patient experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Customer service skills are essential.
Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred; ability to communicate with patients in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients
Act as liaison between patient and doctor
Set up trays per day's charts
Review schedules and anticipate doctor needs
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
Enter treatment plans
Take x-rays as needed
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
Take alginates/pour and trim models
Package and sterilize instruments
Keep operatory stocked
Liaise between patient and doctor

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Greet and seat patients
Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
Set up trays as indicated by the days' charts
Review schedules and anticipate the doctor's needs in advance
Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
Enter treatment plans
Take x-rays as needed
Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient

Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
