Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a team that prioritizes patient safety, teamwork, and professional growth. You will prepare the surgical suite and assist during operations in collaboration with a skilled team using state-of-the-art equipment.

You will support sterile technique, patient comfort, and efficient room turnover while contributing to excellent patient care and ongoing clinical education.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist educational program.
• Current CST or equivalent training for Surgical Technology in U.S. military services.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BCLS provider.
• 2+ years of Cardiovascular experience in the role is required.
• Pedi or Adult CVOR experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment for safe, seamless procedures.
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs.
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to concerns.
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high‑performing, collaborative team environment.
