Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a skilled, collaborative team in the CVOR. You will scrub in, prepare the surgical suite, handle instruments and specimens, and support patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications include CST or Army/Navy/Marine Corps/Coast Guard training, BCLS, and 2+ years CVOR experience. The role offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current CST or completion of a US military Surgical Technology training program.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross BCLS provider.
• 2+ years of Cardiovascular experience in the role is required.
• Pedi or Adult CVOR experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping and draping.
• Scrub in and assist with instruments, specimens and team needs.
• Monitor patients and equipment throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and support efficient room turnover.
