Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a high‑performing surgical team. You will scrub in, set up the sterile suite, pass instruments, and anticipate the team’s needs to support safe, efficient procedures across CVOR cases.

Qualified applicants will have an accredited Surgical Technologist program, CST credential or Army/Navy training, BCLS/BLCS provider certification, and at least 2+ years CV experience.

Qualifications

• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Current CST or Army/Navy/Air Force/Coast Guard Surgical Tech training
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BCLS provider
• 2+ years of Cardiovascular experience
• Pedi or Adult CVOR experience

Responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high‑performing, collaborative team environment

Education

BCLS within 30 days of employment start date

Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program

Current CST or Army/Navy/Air Force/Coast Guard Surgical Tech training

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BCLS provider

2+ years of Cardiovascular experience

Pedi or Adult CVOR experience
