The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology team for weekend night shifts. You will operate CT imaging systems, including photon counting CT, and provide high‑quality exams while prioritizing patient safety.

You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support diagnoses and ensure efficient imaging for physicians. Requires ARRT CT registration within 1 year and SC licensure, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration required (R) with CT registration within 1 year.
• SC Radiation Quality Standards licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Full Time - Weekend Nights (Fri-Sun, 7:00PM - 7:30AM)

CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

• Sign-on bonus: $10,000
• Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 for eligible candidates
• Shift Differentials: up to $5.30 per hr (depending on shift)

Shift Details

• Call requirements: Participation in the on-call rotation is required approximately once every three months.

Additional Job Description

Required License Certification and Registration:

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Required Registration/Certification

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHArecognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
