The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist to operate advanced imaging equipment and deliver high-quality cross-sectional CT examinations. You will work weekends (Fri–Sun) nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with on-call rotations and a sign-on bonus in place, supporting patient care across all ages.

An emphasis on safety, precision, and collaboration with radiology staff ensures accurate imaging and diagnostic support in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 1 year.
• SC Radiation Quality Standards license is required.
• Current BLS certification required.

$10,000 sign-on bonus + up to $5,000 relocation assistance available

Full Time - Weekend Nights (Fri- Sun, 7:00PM - 7:30AM)

CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Compensation & Incentives

• Sign-on bonus: $10,000
• Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 for eligible candidates
• Shift Differentials: up to $5.30 per hr (depending on shift)

• Call requirements:Participation in the on-call rotation is required approximately once every three months.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all CT imaging resources to perform high-quality CT examinations
• Provide CT imaging services for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics
• Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation
• Maintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols
• Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring patient safety during examinations
• Operate CT equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment

Required License Certification and Registration:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHArecognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
