Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT imaging systems, including pediatric exams, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses in a dynamic clinical environment.

Must have graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT CT registration within 1 year, SC licensure, and a current BLS certification. Relocation and sign-on incentives may be available.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required; CT registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross) is required.

CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Compensation & Incentives

• Sign-on bonus: $10,000
• Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 for eligible candidates
• Shift Differentials: $2.30 per hr (depending on shift)
• Additional pay: (call pay, overtime etc.)

Shift Details

• Schedule: Weekdays
• Hours: Sun-Tues 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Call requirements: Participation in the on-call rotation is required approximately once every three months.
• Holiday expectations: Rotating Schedule

Additional Job Description

Required License Certification and Registration:

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience

0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.

Required Registration/Certification

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
• ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
